Starwars the old republic review

The game itself is based on the starwars films and yes i do like the gameplay and storyline.

For everyone who used to watch the starwars movies or watch any kind of starwars, the cartoon serie, the most recent movies etc they will and should love this game.

You can travel planets, drive specific vechiles related to the movies ofcourse.

The PVP!

I realy love the player versus player since there are tons of classes you can be a sith lord or a bounty hunter even a healer, a jedi, a tank so many classes you have no idea.

This gives tons of variation to starwars.

When you play PvP you're equal to your enemies on level based they'll max you out normally so your damage will be higher. GEAR DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

When you have better gear you'll do more difference, if you have more skill you'll be better to.

People don't understand how big of a factor skill is, they think yeah i just buy my way to the top yeh?

No not at all if you're bad you'll play bad and make bad choices.

That's the basic but it is a big factor.

People often doesn't see how important it is to do research and to get to know your class.

But it's very important a class can be worse than another but if the player knows his class better than the best class out there he'll problay kick tons of players wich just took that class to kick ass.

Be better than your opponent will MOST OF THE TIME win you the fight.

Why most of the time you can't be level 1 and he'll be max level he'll one shot you.

Level difference, gear difference is important.

But gear difference can be bend by skill.

Pvp here is balanced or well that is my opinion but bad players often cry about it my class is unbalanced my class is bad etc. Every class is bad with a bad player. Being good is not just about knowing your class but making the right decission on the right moments.

The PVE !

Pve is one of the fun things cuz you have to know tactics and you have to get a team who knows how to raid, even dungeons are fun but less complicated.

Dungeons are great as a start up or to farm certain items to help yourself or gear your alts, alternative accounts.

Some people like to gear alternatives so they can fall in for other people or have something to do when their main team is busy with other things.

I seriously love PVE cuz the teamplay is fun.

Somtimes you'll see that there are people clearing raids, dungeons very easy these players are close to pro players or are professional guilds.

Yes you can be pro in swtor you'll need decent amount of gear and the right skills but there is always a possibility.

Pve requires some passion and dedication cuz it takes a long time to clear a raid cuz you'll have to be good if you don't fail even once.

This is called a wipe when you don't succeed and you die you'll just try over and try over till it works most professional guilds call this progression.

My opinion !

I personally like the game and the storyline alot BUT ! yes but i don't like the fact they promote it as a F2P but you're required to buy DLC packs on a higher level to go to lvl 70.

The game is nice but they should either make people pay or give it for free all of it.

Cuz i'm sure if the game was completely free ? ALOT OF PLAYERS WOULD COME BACK.

Back when it was released you had to pay for the game and the prepaid, yea i was one of those haha.

Now you can buy yourself into the game if you buy the dlc's you'll get a lvl 60 character wich is great ofcourse cuz you don't have to level all of it.

Some people love the fact that they can do this but i think you just skip the storyline like this and that is kinda boring.
I realy LOVE the storyline since it's familiar to the movie set.
Also this gives those rich kids again the opportunity to buy theirselves into the game and that is what i dislike alot.
I seriously hate pay to win.

Since pay to win ruins the game for others who are dedication for progression but again skill is a big factor.

For example a good jedi will kick a bad bounty hunters ass as if he was killing ants. SORRY MY EXCUSES FOR EVERY ANT OUT THERE ! WE ALL HATE YOU AT SUMMER AND KINDA LOVE YOU CUZ YOU KEEP OUR ECOLOGIC SYSTEM BALANCED.

But we still hate you not all of us though but alot of us.
So alot of us hate bad players to who just pay their way in i'm kidding i'm not a person who is hatefull.

But well yeh i most of the time just play for fun since that is the point of gaming but you get me right like i don't take it serious enough to spend HOURS AND HOURS of gearing etc.

Well i can't dedicate myself to a game like this anymore since well it ruined a big part of my life.
No offense gaming = fun but i won't be some hardcore player anymore no matter what.
I'm kidding i'm playing sc2 hardcore hahaha
